Creating your dream day can be a daunting task, but I'm with you! Below are answers to the questions that I'm most often asked by couples. If you have any other questions, please feel free to get in touch. I'm here to help.

How far in advance should we book our Celebrant?

Most couples book their Celebrant between 12 and 18 months before their Wedding Day, particularly for popular spring and autumn dates. November has become the most popular month for the last couple of years. Last minute bookings may also be available, depending on availability. It's always worth asking.

Can we write our own Vows?

Yes of course! I will print them on cards for you to read on your Wedding Day - in nice big font. If you would prefer to share your personal Vows privately, a lovely touch is to exchange letters for you to both read separately on the morning of the Wedding, leaving just the legal Vows to say in front of your guests.

What legal paperwork do we need to organise?

Nothing - you leave that with your Celebrant to organise. The first form is the Notice of Intended Marriage that you complete with your Celebrant. It needs to be done between one and eighteen months from your Wedding Day. You just need to provide your ID and know your parent's middle names. Then there is a Declaration of no Legal Impediment that you sign just before your Wedding Day and then the certificate on the big day. These are all organised by your Celebrant, leaving you to focus on the fun parts.

Can we include children, pets or family members in our ceremony:

Please do! They make my most favourite Wedding Ceremonies. They are full of joy and love and take away the pressure of needing to be perfect - they are wonderfully unpredictable. Children and furbabies make the best ringbearers and can warm even the coldest of hearts. A big yes!

How long does a Wedding Ceremony typically last?

My Wedding Ceremonies usually go for around 20-30 minutes.  Any longer and your guests will start looking for the bar. If you are after Signing Only - then literally five minutes until popping the champers.

How do we get started?

The easiest way to get started is to check my availability using the enquiry form. From there, we'll arrange a relaxed chat to discuss your wedding plans and see if I'm the right celebrant for you.
